You will spend four days with Claire. These days are the practical, experiential units of your Journey into Nature. Explore the four natural elements: water, earth, fire and wind and engage with the properties of the elements through hands on experiences. Improve your practical skills as well as your understanding of how nature can provide you with a rich variety of resources and learning opportunities. Through these investigations and support from Claire you will leave these training days feeling confident in the new skills you have gained. Finally you will reflect on what you have learned so far and how you'll be able to develop your practice as a result. You'll also focus on the use of digital technology in nature-based learning and how you can use nature to effectively teach a STEAM curriculum. The training course will finish with a celebration of the new skills and connections you've made.
